Update

It’s been months since we last posted an update about where we’re at in the process of launching Miss Glendale, I wanted to take the time to update everyone.

Our venue for the pageant fell through just before the Miss Arizona finals in June. There were some financial changes to the venue, and dates that were blocked off and for this reason we lost our current venue. After much thought and consideration I have decided at this time to post pone the September pageant date for a later to be announced time.

This program is a passion of mine and there are a lot of details that go into making it happen and providing the best experience as possible for the ladies that choose to compete. It’s my goal and dream to provide the best experience and do it right when we have our very first Miss Glendale Pageant. It’s for these reasons that I’ve decided to take some time and fundraise for the pageant.

Thank you to the Miss Arizona Board for being patient with me as we get Miss Glendale off the ground. To the Sponsors who are sticking with us, a BIG thank you!

Announcing TWO New Sponsors to the Miss Glendale Scholarship Pageant!

I’m happy to announce two great NEW Sponsors to the Miss Glendale Family:

Jessica Maupin, will be handeling the auditing services for our pageant on September 4th,  as well as providing accounting services throughout the year for the Miss Glendale Scholarship Program

Save the Date for the 2010 Miss Glendale Scholarship Pageant! I want to take the time to say thank you to everyone for their patience in this. We finally have a date set! September 4th, 2010 at 6 PM is the new date for the very first Miss Glendale Scholarship Pageant. Because it is still far away please stay tuned to the site for venue information and more info for the contestants. And, as always please feel free to email with any questions you may have! Introducing Jenni Croft- Choreographer for Miss Glendale!

We’re excited to welcome Jenni Croft to the Miss Glendale family! Jenni will serve as our Official Choreographer for the Miss Glendale Pageant. Jenni is a former Phoenix Suns dancer as well as a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and brings to the table a ton of dance experience. We’re excited to have her working with our girls on our production number for the pageant!

A Letter from the Director:

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to take the time to update everyone on what is happening with the Miss Glendale Pageant this year,

My Husband and I are will be expecting our very first baby this Spring in March, a few weeks after the pageant was to take place.

Due to this, I have decided that it would be in the best interest of my family and the pageant to hold it at a later date. I do not feel that I will have enough time to prepare a titleholder for Miss Arizona this summer and having a new baby.

Miss Glendale will happen after the Miss Arizona pageant this summer, date still to be determined. I will keep you all update on date changes, times, etc. on the website here.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I would like to say a BIG thanks to the Miss Arizona State board for being very willing to work with me on this. Thank you to all the Sponsors who have to graciously agreed to stay on board.
