The Miss America Organization is leading provider of scholarships to young women in the United States. With the values of Scholarship, Success, Service and Style the Miss America Organization elevates young women to pursue their goals and dreams.
It is in this tradition that Miss Glendale follows as a new local in the Miss Arizona family.
Miss Glendale is a local preliminary pageant to Miss Arizona and the Miss America Pageant.
Director Bio:
Andrea Worley- Director of Miss Glendale
Andrea is a native Iowan who began her pageant experience when she was 16 years old.
Her experience includes:
- 1999 4th runner up at Miss Iowa Teen and Academic scholarship winner.
- 2000 3rd Runner up at Miss Iowa Teen and Academic scholarship winner.
- 2000 Rose Queen semi-finalist and Talent Winner.
- 2001 Miss Central Iowa Fair Queen.
- Competed in MAO locals in both Iowa and Minnesota.
Since being a competitor Andrea, has judged many local pageants in both Iowa and Minnesota. In 2007, Andrea joined the Miss Twin Cities Scholarship program as their Director of Scholarships & Fundraising. In 2008, they added the title of Miss Capital City under the umbrella of Miss Twin Cities.

- In 2009, Miss Glendale was added as a new local to the Miss Arizona family.
Andrea and her husband Orion currently live in Glendale. They are Youth Pastors at Destiny Church. Andrea is a full time Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer. They have a cocker-spaniel puppy named Bentley.
